Optimistically Catching Worthwhile Dates in the USA
Not that I hate to say it, because dating games don’t “get” me. Get this, last night I ate a whole bag of Oreos. On a weekend while being single, of course. I pretend to be ashamed about it. Am I crazy? Actually, that’s when I initially considered meeting new singles in North Dallas.
Easy solution. I’ll ease back into dating with Great Expectations Denver Dating Service. Probably sounds like a plan. My dating life is worth bringing up. I was at my boy’s t-ball game at Oak Park two weeks ago, Jim wanted to know if I’ve met that special someone. I just can’t believe that came up. I didn’t want to answer, but then laughed, “that’s none of your business.”
There’s nowhere to hide when “The Twerp” (my nephew, age 9) mindlessly kept jabbing me about my personal matters. I joked to the whole group: “Dating isn’t for me, but I’ll never find a gorgeous single woman hanging out with you.”
You know what? Everyone looked away and giggled. Irritated, I rang Margaret because the dating pressure was too much. But I couldn’t get it out of my head! Nothing was helping and I needed some damn help. My cousin, who was a fellow Ram in high school (go Rams!) suggested that I enroll in Great Expectations. I said, “Yeah, maybe I should.” See, everything always works out. I will never regret joining this dating service full of fun and desirable Dallas singles.
Early on, matchmaking was a novel thing as I am a simple guy. I was a bit nervous at first, that I spilled a glass of wine on my blazer. A mere faux pas could not pull the plug on us from enjoying ourselves. The evening was full of crazy-fun mingling. The truth is I’ll never forget all the attractive, single women.
I started going to these glorious Denver Singles Events and parties at Great Expectations, I rubbed elbows with quite a few winners who certainly have similar ideas when talking about real-world dating. Can’t imagine why I used to let everyone give me a hard time about being single. Surprisingly enough, doing things the Great Expectations way is my pleasure and a remarkably refreshing dating experience.
